The Hera Project is located approximately 100km south-east of Cobar in central NSW.
Aurelia purchased the Hera Project as an undeveloped gold-lead-zinc-silver deposit from CBH Resources in September 2009. Following an extensive exploration and feasibility effort, the Hera Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) was delivered in September 2011.
Hera Project Approval was received from the NSW Govt in July 2012, and Aurelia (then YTC Resources) announced a Project Financing agreement with Glencore in November 2012.
Project Construction commenced in January 2013 and commercial production announced from April 2015.
The Hera Project produces gold-silver dore and a ‘bulk’ (lead+zinc) concentrate for sale.
